Rebellix sind eine junge Thrash Metal-Band aus Helsinki. Ganze Alben gibt es noch nicht, dafür aber ein Demo, eine Single und eine EP. Dazu gesellt sich bald eine weitere, denn im Oktober erscheint die neue EP „Serpent‘s Kiss“. Als kleinen Vorgeschmack darauf hauen die Finnen erstmal ein Musikvideo zum Titeltrack raus. Ein richtig geiler Thrash Metal-Kracher der melodischeren Sorte. In der Strophe wird erstmal ordentlich Gas gegeben, doch der absolute Höhepunkt ist der Refrain. Höllische Eingängigkeit trifft auf tolle Gitarrenmelodien. Diesen Ohrwurm wird man so leicht nicht mehr los. Doch auch die Soli können sich hören lassen. Egal, ob extrem schnelle Läufe oder zweistimmige Leads, hier stimmt wirklich alles! Auch optisch ist hier einiges geboten. Die Band spielt auf einer kleinen Bühne mit einer tollen, aufwendigen Lichtshow. Zwischendurch gibt es eine Tänzerin zu sehen, die optisch an Alissa White-Gluz von Arch Enemy erinnert. Am Ende beweisen Rebellix noch ordentlich Selbstironie, aber hier sei mal nicht zu viel verraten. Schaut es euch lieber selbst an! Es lohnt sich!

Rebellix are a young thrash metal band from Helsinki. There are no full albums yet, but a demo, a single and an EP. Soon there will be another one, because in October the new EP „Serpent’s Kiss“ will be released. As a small foretaste the Finns release a music video for the title track. It’s a really cool Thrash Metal banger of the more melodic kind. In the verse they properly step on the gas, but the absolute highlight is the chorus. Hellish catchiness meets great guitar melodies. You won’t get rid of this tune so easily. But the solos sound very good, too. Whether extremely fast runs, or two-part leads, here really everything is right! Also visually there is a lot to offer here. The band plays on a small stage with a great, elaborate light show. In between there is a dancer to see, who visually reminds of Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy. At the end Rebellix show a lot of self-irony, but I don’t want to give too much away. Better check it out yourself! It’s worth it!
